Who the Lodge serves
Residential rehab admission in Alabama: finding the right fit
Residential treatment is for people who need more structure and support than outpatient care can give. The clinical assessment decides the level of care, and these lists are a general guide to how that decision usually goes.
The Lodge is built for adults who
- Have a substance use disorder, with or without a co-occurring mental health condition
- Need medical detox before treatment, with 24/7 nursing and physician oversight
- Have already tried outpatient treatment
- Are stepping down from a hospital or crisis stabilization stay
- Need distance from the people, places and routines tied to their substance use
Another level of care may fit better when someone
- Can keep up with work and family and has a stable, sober home, where partial hospitalization or intensive outpatient care may be enough
If the Lodge is not the right fit, admissions helps find care that is. That might be partial hospitalization or intensive outpatient treatment at a Longleaf location, virtual IOP from home, or outpatient mental health care. When a hospital or another provider is the safer place to begin, the team says so and helps you get there.
